Janine Good, a close friend and student of Bill’s, will be celebrating his work and impact Bill had on her own art practice, on the Sat 13th August in the Arc Switchroom from 1-4 pm and we hope you can come and share a glass to commemorate Bill’s considerable contribution to the Gippsland arts scene and contemporary Australian painting.

In conjunction with the Latrobe Regional Gallery exhibition ‘Big Picture’ The art of Bill Young’, Come and see the exquisite drawings created by recently departed Gippsland artist William Young at arc.
Bill may have been a friend, a mentor or a teacher of yours, or you may know Bill’s paintings through the collections at the Latrobe Regional Gallery and the Gippsland Art Gallery at the Port of Sale.
Sparc Gallery at Arc is currently exhibiting Bill’s drawings and sketch books, which he created alongside his paintings as a means of exploring an idea before committing it to canvas.
