A small exhibition of artworks for sale, by significant Australian Artist, from private collections locally and interstate

In conjunction with the affordable art exhibition ‘Hands On’ in Arc Yinnar main gallery. ‘Private Eye’ provides the community the opportunity to acquire art works by “Listed” Artists who’s biographic details appear in publications such as the ‘ The New McCulloch’s Encyclopedia of Australian Art’ a comprehensive reference book on Australian Art.

All the Artist artworks are in the ‘Private Eye’ exhibition are represented in the permanent collections of Australian Public Art Galleries and Museums.

* Rodney Scherer is an Artist, former Senior Curator and retired Director of Latrobe Regional Gallery. He has advised private collectors and local government authorities, Baw Baw Shire, Bass Coast Council and the City of Whitehorse. He most recently Curated ‘The Happy Wanderer, The Art of Victor Ernest Cobb, 1876 – 1945 ‘ exhibition at the Gippsland Art Gallery, Sale.
