Inferno, The Owls of Nebraska


The Owls of Nebraska exhibition and record launch ‘Inferno’ will be bumping into Sparc gallery on the Sept Fri 17th & Sat18th and bumping out on the Sunday 26th September

The Owls of Nebraska are a collaboration of artists Kate Zizys, Pezaloom, Kim Mac Donald Anthea Williams and Anthony Brandon. Their work involves sound, imagery, installations and sculpture, film and performance


The Owls of Nebraska, Received funding from Regional arts Victoria through the Victorian Government’s Sustaining Creative Workers initiative.
The Funding was to enable the Gippsland art collective to research and test a range of digital platforms to produce works together while physically apart. Inferno is their product.

The Owls encourage people to come and visit on September Sunday 19th & Friday 24th, Sat 25th, and Sun 26th - we will be playing our new record and printing the sleeves in-situ at the Sparc gallery space. Our record is for sale and includes a poster and custom-made cover art. We will also be showcasing the original drawings, collages, photographs, and prints we made as part of our Inferno e-book research in 2020, which was supported through a grant from Regional Arts Victoria and was screened as part of the Owls of Nebraska Checkmate live performance and screening at the Latrobe Regional Gallery in May 2021
