Workshop Description

This course is suitable for complete beginners and those wanting to refresh their skills.

The course will run for 5 weeks on Sunday from 9.30am to 3pm. You will learn about clay, how to wedge, how to throw on a pottery wheel, slab building, hand building using moulds and mould pressing and glazing. There is an opportunity to learn about and participate in firing an electric and gas kiln. These times are not included in the course and will be arranged outside of these hours at no extra cost. These courses are designed to be relaxing and accessible.

Morning tea & equipment use, one bag of clay and some limited glazes are included. Further bags of clay can be purchased

If the course or any part thereof is cancelled due to COVID, the course dates will be re-scheduled.

Refunds: If you can’t make the workshop for whatever reason, we ask you to provide as much notice as possible. We are unable to provide a full refund for any cancellation with less than 24 hours notice.
